Default T2 S2000 rule changes

http://www.scca.org/_Filelibrary/File/04-0...07-fastrack.pdf

04 size wheels are now allowed on the 00-03 cars. Also I was called for more info on my other 2 requests (differential reinforcement and alternate final drive ratio) so hopefully those will be answered next month.

I'm in the middle of the paperwork to make the 04-05 car legal to race in '05.

On a side note, the 350Z got springs and sway bars so maybe we are not asking for enough changes.

Let me know if you have any other ideas....

ooh we can remove the passenger seat belt too!

on the changes. It doesn't specify oem wheels, does that mean any 17x7 & 17x8.5 is allowed?

Yes, Touring (T1 & T2) rules already permit any wheel that mateches the allowed size . Any ideas on what light weight ones are available in the 04 rim size?

do they speficy offset?

I'd talk to John P at www. ccwheel.com he can make you 3pc wheels in just about any size. He makes all of our 18x9 & 18x10s.

They will be light, not sure how much lighter than stock tho.

So are these changes valid for Bstock? It would seem far fetched to allow springs on the Z in Bstock...?

These are changes for SCCA road racing, not autocross

Jason, did you get my PM's from earlier regarding your problem?

We'll john should be able to make you some nice wheels. for less than $2k/set shipped.

3pcs wheels are nice when you damage one.

Do they have a JDM light version of the 04 s2k wheels?

I think JDM gets the same wheel for 04 but I'll check.

Found this on the CCW site forum:

cant do much for the s2k in terms of a stock or near stock package, the smallest setups were are able to make are 9 and 9.5 front and 10-10.5 rears to run slicks or big hoosiers.
