Default T2 Scca question

Hi everyone. I am racing my MY03 in a local class simular to T2 and have some questions I don't see answers to anywhere else. My car is mostly stock except for these mods. A) CR bars front and rear. B) tires = 245/255 stager on 17" AP2 8.5" rims. My questions are: 1) What are the top S2k in T2 running for schocks/springs/bars? 2) Are the Honda factory support teams running CR Shocks/Springs/Bars or a conbination of all these? 3) What would the recommendations of this group be to control understeer? 4) Anyone know who I could ask that is currently running in T2?

Any help, advice, recomendations will be greatly appreciated.

PS: this is also my DD.

Thanks

Bill

Maybe he was just talking about the performance modifications allowed in class. Hopefully not with regard to stripping, gutting and caging. I'm assuming it's a Time Trial type program. Could be wrong, though.

t2 cars can't change springs and control understeer by running bigger front tires.

Sorry to confuse the issue on T2 specs vs DD car. Yes it is a type of Time Trials class. And yes I know I can use smaller front tires to improve over steer.

You should post the rules for your specific class. The setup for SCCA T3 (not T2) S2000s is dictated by the class rules -- for example, as others have mentioned, you're required to run stock springs and sway bars. For that reason, you don't necessarily want to emulate a T3 car.

With the upcoming 2013 class restructuring, there's a good chance S2000s will go to T2 and lose the restrictor plate. SSB moves up to T3.

Now I'm further confused, I am looking at the SCCA GCR for 2012 and it shows the S2000 in both T2 and T3? What's up with that?

Different prep levels. There are very few T3 S2000s and very very few T2 S2000s currently.
