Default T3 S2000's!

I see he's racing a S2K in T3 this year (he's gonna be at the up coming national race at thunderhill).

Just curious if anyone knows him? T3 is gonna be great for the s2k.

He's been a rolling roadblock at National Events for the past two or three years. I'd pay attention to Vodden in the S2k. Depending on how they do I'll see how fast I need to get my car done.

yeah but vodden hasn't turned laps much faster than I've done in a stock ap1. I've tried to help a little bit. I hope they do well.

The s2k I think will kick ass in T3. I'd really like to make my street car into one but thats what I need is 2 s2k race cars Not to mention they run in the same damn run group as ITE

The S2k will be a good match for the RX-8 but there are several well funded cars out there. All things being equal money wins every time.

I was planning on running the Subie again in T2 this year. So far the turnouts have been light so I am now unsure.

Come on Derek. Come play in T3 this year!!!!!!! I've made the jump from SSC and we are finishing putting together an '06. Consider it this year because who knows what SCCA will put on the car to slow it down

John,

I don't think the S2k is going to be all that... It's absolutely a podium car at the Runoffs for sure, but since they added weight AND took away rear tire I'm not so sure. OTOH, the RX-8's at RDR are probably as fast as they're going to be.

The other unknown about the S2000 is the difference between 2 liter and 2.2 liter. I don't think anyone will REALLY know the necessary weight for equalization until the Runoffs.

BTW, we got a new 2007... classification should be coming shortly.

I also requested 8.5" rims and 245's at all 4 corners like the RX-8 is allowed (8" rim) just in case you didn't buy wheels yet. Don't know if they'll grant it, but we'll see.

Also since the car is going to need over 100lbs of ballast, I requested we be allowed to have some of it under the seat since there's not a lot of room in the "passenger footwell"

Cool deal Nate!!!!! I bought rims, but I'll do anything to make the car better. I put in a request for the 17x7.5 for the front. I will be giving you a call in the next couple of days, I have a couple questions!!!!! No kidding about the weight, I think the stack may extend to the roof.
