ive got a j's radiator plate and cusco 3 point bar. is that going to set me back at all? i know techs at the track are very strict.

 

They're not going to care about the radiator plate unless it's just held on by scotch tape and glue.

As for the Cusco bar....is this a roll bar?

All the tech guys are going to be examining is safety, unless you're actually entering a series, at which time they'll be looking at mods.

 

I think he is reffering to the Cusco version of an X brace. In which case he'll be fine. Just make sure your brake system is in top working order, all the lugs are tight and your battery still has the factory hold down and it's tight. Outside of that as long as your car rolls down the road without any strange noises you probably ok. The organization might have a "pre-tech" form available on their website for you to run through yourself. AND REMEMBER, IT'S NOT A RACING SCHOOL. IT IS HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVERS EDUCATION

 

If it's an HPDE then you won't have to worry. Most allow you to sign off on your own form, but don't take that in any way as an excuse to not verify that your car is safe.
