Default Tein RA'S ( need help)

I want better lighter shocks but mainly just for touring and street use.
Can I adjust the Tein RA'S to ride as soft as stock?
Please advise

I've got a simliar question:
I'm looking for a set of stocks or light weight 16"s for track days and want a suspension that ride stock height, a litlle firmer is fine, but can be dropped and tightened for track days. i've been oggling the Tien RA's. Should they fit the bill or is there something else i should look at?

thanks

You can put the RA's at stock height, and they do well on the track and not bad on the street either.. but if you want something a little more closer to stock feel (softer)on the road try the Zeal B6's, they will be smoother on the street.

Thanks EFFECT, will the b6's be adjustable for height and stiffness when i go to the track and put on smaller wheels?

I would disagree. The TEIN RA is not significantly stiffer than the factory suspension. I use them on my semi-daily driver. It would be most helpful to ride in one at a local club meet. Eveyone that has ridden or driven in whitey junior agrees.

Cheers,

Dont get me wrong the Teins are no where near harsh and do awesome on the street. But the Zeals are even softer.. they are 6 way adjustable and are adjustable for height as well.
The RA is slightly more geared towards the track then the zeal, both are very nice though... Like Chris said, if you can ride in someones car with them you would get a good idea

regardless of what you get, without actually riding in the car or driving someone else's with a similar setup - its just a costly gamble if you aren't happy, especially if this is only for the street.
