Hard to believe it was for me as well. I think because the SRC dampening range is much broader than the KW's; you can make the ride very comfortable (relatively speaking) - despite the near double spring rate.

surprised to learn that src's have a better ride quality than the v3's. One thing I know about the kw's from experience is that they're bulletproof. Anyone with src's care to comment on longevity, might be time to upgrade.
