Tie-down attach points?

what strength tie downs are needed for up to 3400lb car?

any trailershop can get you the right tie downs. More importantly are the hooks

Both davepk and I use the "R" hook that is listed on the page sideways posted.



They are the correct fit for the 4 tie down points that are behind the jack points. I then install the tie-downs in an X.

Front Right Tie-Down on the Car to Left Front Point on trailer, etc. make an X in the front and an X in the rear.

don't. I'd worry too much about bending them.

Either thru the wheels or to the tie down points. Can you not get the R clips at a local place?

If not I just ran a long tie down thru both wheels for OTC, tho you'll likely move the alignment some (toe) if you do it alot.

Square edges on front arm mount flanges on the body will saw through straps.
