Default Tire Pressures

I'm doing my first track day this weekend at Sebring

I have 17" S03s on my 2002 Sebring Silver. Any advice on tire pressures?

Thanks

Don't know what's optimal hot pressures for SO3's, but proabably high 30's, like 38. As it's your first time, remember that the pressures will increase a LOT from cold, depending on how hard you drive, so more important is to check your pressures immediately, first thing, after EVERY session so you don't get too high. Okay if you are below target initially as they will generally get higher as the day progreses (you going faster plus day getting warmer). And remember that you will likely have to add back air at the end of the day as you will be bleeding air/pressure most of the day. Good luck.

What size front rear are the tires? If its your first time then don't worry too much about tires. I say put 34 psi cold pressure on all tires and then just go track the car. If it is a hot day then check them a couple of times after your sessions to make sure they are not above 40psi. Enjoy.

34? Usually start lower than for street, letting air out, unless you are planning to just cruise around.

34 psi is a good place to start based on my experience.
