Since you're in socal, check out the SGV, alot of people head to Tire Central. They usually have the best prices in town. Check them out on yelp.

Since you are in SoCal, I buy all my tires (including numerous R-comps) from:

C.K. Tire
4901 South Broadway Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90037

(323) 234-4800

His prices are competitive. I'm not sure they are the very cheapest anywhere, but he gives me free mounting and balancing, which is certainly worth something. You don't have to pay for shipping. The only thing he adds to the price is Calif. sales tax.

Very important: Ask for Paul, and tell him Richard sent you. They are open Mon. - Sat. 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Paul can always get the tires I want, usually in a few hours or a day after I call to order them. I have bought Nitto NT-01 and NT-05, Toyo RA-1 and R1R from him, but he can get just about anything. Unfortunately, he does not have a tire shaving machine, but there are very few shops that do.

Call Paul, ask him for his best price on the tires you want, and tell him I referred you. Then do the price comparison yourself.

Thanks. I'll give him a call in a couple months when I'm ready for my next set. Got some RS3's and getting them mounted next week.

Does anyone know of any places with reasonable prices in the SFV? If not, any place where mounting/balancing is cheap in the SFV in case I need to get them online? I usually get my street tires at Tire Pros in the SFV because they have great prices, fix flats for free, but they told me they can't get the RS-3.

If you live around the Escondido area:

I have been dealing with Brett for 10+yrs. I cannot speak highly enough about his prices as service. My experience has been if Brett can't get it no one can.

Call
Brett Harris
Manger Discount Tire
760-741-3801

Tell him Mark S referred you.
