Where you might have trouble is if you were to make a warranty service claim. Honda could easily deny your claim on the basis that the manual clearly says the car is not designed for towing.
Maybe but in Europe that doesnt matter.
Either it is allowed by the manufacturer or you simply cant do it even if all technical aspects can b eproven to be safe.
We cant even mount different size tyres on the S and only a few aftermarket wheels or mufflers are allowed for the S
Thats basically teh reason why you dont see that much modified cars in Europe

S2000 Htich Reciever
I have put them on 4 friends S's. We all tow Harbor freight style trailers with boxes and tires.
When you take the reciever out, it only adds 1.5# to the car.
to compensate for the 1.5#, I remove .75# of air from each front tire, so still 50/50
