Default Titanium Bolts

How many racers here think the 10-15 lb weight reduction offered by Ti bolts would be worth the cost if it could also be gotten at a volume discount?

Cutting cheeseburger consumption in half will also get you that 10-15lb weight reduction and it will save you money!

A small amount of this weight would also come off your spinning drive line.

Depends, some of us can't afford to lose 10-15 pounds. 6'0", 145 here. But no I wouldn't change all the bolts to Ti, I just did the next best thing. Bought an Elise, instant 700 pound savings off a S2000 right there

Which bolts are you talking about? Personally, I would only use the bolts the car was designed to use. Fasteners are not always as interchangeable as most people think.

Then you already have an advantage, so you can't complain.

Now you have an Elise, so you really can't complain.

Or you can just go buy a formula car...

And good for your health too!

Seems like alot of trouble and easier done with other means of weight reduction.
