Default toe conversion to degrees?

I was too chicken to go zero rear toe-in so I went for the lowest the alignment machine could read which was 0.05 degrees each side

So total toe-in is 0.10 degrees, can anyone tell me whats that in inches?

(25.4" tire diameter)*sin(0.05 deg) * 2 = 0.044" total toe in

Or if anybody wants a table in Excel format or pdf we give customers email me directly - PMs will not be acknowledged on this as it's just too much freaking hassle trying to copy info. Give me a break and just email direct so I can respond with a click and attachment, OK??

Depends on wheel size - not tire size - because typically alignment machines hook up to the wheels.

Assuming 17" wheel

17*sin(theta) = Toe in inches

where theta = toe in degrees

So even if the AP1 and AP2 rear alignment had the same toe ANGLE, the listed factory toe in inches would be different?

Also, the outer diameter of a 17" wheel is more than 17". Where do you measure from? I would think the tire OD would be more consistent. But whatever, we are arguing over thousandths of inches.
