Default Tow STRAP Manufacturers

I'm leaning towards replacing my hard / fixed J's Racing tow hooks with a soft strap.

While searching the web, all I'm finding are NRG tow straps. Who else makes them? These will be for stock bumpers and stock locations.

Any help is appreciated.

my problem with the strap is that depending on the angle they tow, it might pull your bumper upwards. the location that it mounts is a few inches behind the bumper and that is where the angle can change.

if it was at the end of the bumper that is a different story.

I can pull my strap at any angle that a tow truck will be able to and the bumper doesn't go anywhere.

I got mine from Lowes. It was the largest metric bolt size they had.

I recently installed the SPARCO ones. They are $15 each with Prime shipping on Amazon. Similar to King Tut, I just bought the biggest bolt Home Depot had that had a matching nylock nut. I then ended up having to make a quick trip to Harbor Freight as I didn't have a large enough drill bit! I drilled a hole in the bottom of the front bumper bar. You will need to move the plastic radiator shield to get access to the inside of the bumper bar.

Since I didn't want to add a bunch of washers and increase the sheer force, I also cut away a bit of the black plastic grill at the top so the strap didn't hit it and bind. The bumper remained uncut, however.

For the rear I just used one of the subframe bolts on the driver's side, easily accesses through the exhaust opening that is unused with my single exhaust. The only comment I got during my annual tech is that I may want to add a Tow sticker to make it obvious that is where the strap is.

I used the OEM tow hook location front and rear, so I just needed a bolt, washer, and a lock washer. I had to do some trimming of the front bumper bar near the OEM tow hook location to get it to fit though. I looked up the size and pitch of the OEM tow hook on here and luckily Lowes had a bolt. I would have went through the grill opening in the front, but I have something else that will be filling that area shortly.
