Ate is likely NOT available at your local parts store. It might be available at a higher end import parts store. If not, try some local Porsche or BMW tuning shops.
If all else fails, mail order works. I think BMP Design (www.bmpd.com) sells it for $11/Liter

Keep in mind that there is a lower grade of ate fluid on the market.. so it is the blue racing or typ200 that you want. I have purchased it at the local import auto supply but usually just order it from ogracing or some other online supplier (usually $9.95). The cheapest price I have seen is $8.50 a liter (when buying four) from APEX http://www.apexperformance.net/ate_super_b...acing_fluid.htm .

Maybe when the STi version hits the US my desire for AWD M3-level performance (with some quick mods...) for under $30K will overcome my distaste for it's styling! Alas still no paddle shift
