I am interested in logging my speed, RPM, gear position, G forces, and perhaps brake/throttle application in order to improve my performance at the track or autocross. Which data recording systems are popular among S2000 owners? What would be the cost to buy, install, and calibrate such a system?

Check out Harry's Lap timer if you have an Iphone (May be on droid too ). Use it with a ebay obd2 wifi adapter (about 60 bucks) and a good mount and you can record video and even overlay it with all the data you could need from the sensor!
