Default Track time in the Qtr.

I just wen to the track here in Orlando and ran a 14.2 in the qtr mile.
All i got in my S2k is my cold air intake. I ran it on my 18 inch GTN's too.
Just wondering what times other s2k drivers ran.

I've only been to the 1/4th once since I got my s2000, and that was about 2 weeks after ownership...When it was bone stock I ran a 13.74 @100.8mph...I have only heard of a few other owner breaking into the 13.7's So I was happy with my times....That was my best run of the day..The other ranged from (the 1st and highest run of the day ~Feeling out the track~) 13.92 @99.8mph and lower. The majority of the run's were in the 13.8's though.

i ran 13.99 and 13.98 or something like that in my stock 2001... i had the original tires on it at 11k miles so they were pretty shitty... i think my best 60' time was around 2.1 or 2.2... i can't remember... it has been about 3 years since i did that.

was just happy to be in the 13's.

My Stock Evo ran 13.4@102 without even powershifting (so the boost dropped at each shift).

I had a 13.7 @ 101.xx when I had my first S2000 back in 2001. After that it was usually 13.8 or 13.9.

people will be quick to jump on you and go "the S2000 isn't made for 1/4 mile, blah blah". we know and we don't care.

but as I've said, while it is best at cornering and handling, it happens to do the 1/4 mile pretty damn good. and for me it's fun to run the 1/4 every so often. so good luck next time at the track!

the 2.0 is your 60 FOOT time. not your 0-60 time.

ummmm. i know that. obviously if i ran 0-60 in 2 seconds, i wouldnt be running low 14's. when i say 0-60 mark, it was the mark on the strip that marks the "60 foot" range.

When people saw my car on its trailer at gas stations they always want to know what it runs in the 1/4....

So I tell them 18s @ 65mph.

Now that I have an enclosed trailer, the retards won't know whats inside
