Default TrackAddict App Users?

Any TrackAddict app users for autocross or track? I've been using it for both and paid the less than $10 for the paid version. Has given me some really good simple data even with a phone only setup. Example video below just using TrackAddict app with no external connections and then OpenShot opensource video editor. I'm considering purchasing the
Dual Electronics XGPS160 Dual Electronics XGPS160
to be able to get 10Hz GPS signal for improved accuracy. Anyone using it? Pleased? Other recommendations? I'd love to get the ODB2 input as well but I'm using aftermarket ECU so it's not supported by TrackAddicts https://racerender.com/TrackAddict/docs/Interop.html.

Here's video using phone only setup:

I used it a ton for track stuff for a long time. It works well. And I also used racerender for putting the vids together. For a long time I used a VeePak OBD2 dongle to also gather data to overlay from there. Some data I had issues getting perfectly aligned with the video but overall it worked pretty well for a cheap solution.

The only reason I stopped using it was I got a killer deal on a Garmin Catalyst (like around half price) so I have been using it since.

Yeah, I need to play around and see if there’s a way to get my Haltech ECU to stream data into TrackAddict. I’d LOVE to have the Garmin Catalyst but that’s probably not in my near future. Gonna be using more for autocross than track as well so TrackAddict seems to be the best solution right now.

no autox support on catalyst yet either. A guy we track with works there on that program and we always try to pry possible new feature info out of him but he wont divulge

Gotta give a shoutout to the XGPS160 unit. It was flawless, easy to set up, SOOO much better telemetry than 1Hz GPS on the phone. I'm a tech geek so take that into consideration but this thing was awesome in today's autocross. Check out this video where it stays rock solid in the dash holder. It's not using any adhesive. Just a static surface grip.

Running your same setup - TrackAddict + XGPS160 and it works well. I've got to bite the bullet and just purchase RaceRender so I can do longer videos.

I just use OpenShot. It’s an open source video editing software and works great. Multi-layer channels, fades, transitions, etc. Tons of video compile codecs and no limits on length and no embedded advertising. I use it for all sorts of stuff. Check it out at that link. Save a little money and get the same functionality.
