Sorry to hear that. So how light did you get the car?

I was just curious how light they did get the car with all that dieting.
The C-West S2000 is ~2100 lbs, but not as gutted.
It would be interesting to see how much weight can be removed from the floors and and the rear quarters when replaced with composite.

The car is a MNR Vortx RT+ you can read about it here.
Like I said, the weight of the car with a full tank of fuel is 690 KG (1521 lbs) = very fun
I have used the following S2000 parts:
Engine
Gearbox
Complete wire harness
Instruments
Steering column (remember to get the keys)
Propshaft (modified)
Header (modified)
The best thing to do is to find a damaged S2000 to get the parts from.
Most other parts can you get from MNR.
I have had to find the following things my self:
AEM EMS
RED drysump (not needed, but good for a peace of mind)
Willwood brakes
Racing battery
+ a 1000 little parts
Here are a couple pictures of the drysump if anybody wonders how it looks

No comments about the excessive use of liquid gasket please, I know it is way too much and potentially can be dangerous.
