The "Update the Stock class autocross FAQ" thread
Just thought of one that I really like...

It modifies the stock shoulder belt, so it would not be allowed in the S2000 unless you have a roll bar that is higher than the top of your helmet. Clips like the CG-lock that only lock the lap belt are allowed.

That's because on most cars you can't get that much gain.
Either Corey's car is an exceptional example or his rack shows different numbers than others'.

My car might be a freak or the shop's rack may need a calibration. I intend on verifying the numbers some time when I get a chance. There are a fair number of connections to play with; don't forget the lower ball joint attachment bolts.
I feel that the Modifry seat belt lock is Stock-legal. It's no different than locking the seatbelt by quickly tugging on it, it's just a little bit easier. I don't think it's worth the effort to install but I've been locking the belt like that for years now.
I got the Modifry seat lock as I felt that doing the lock/slide forward was causing an issue/stress where the seat was not locking into position for my daily driving.
Maybe this would be worth asking the rule dudes' opinion with this being allowable as it is only activating the existing hardware to lock.
BTW, it is super easy to install.

One thing that I see that isn't mentioned is rain tires.
For many years, the only rain tires were the Hoosier Radial Wets.
Now we have a few more options, including the Kumho W710, and the Toyo R888's GG compound run at full tread.
Does anyone have any experience with the new rain tires at the National's level?
