Default Using different sway bar settings

I was wondering if anyone has ever used different adjustment holes per side for a saner or grenderon sway bar?

For instance using the stiffest hole on the left and 2nd stiffest on the right.

Discuss.

Im sure others have.
Just gives a better range of adjustment (5 instead of 3 for the saner).
I have mine on full stiff. We'll see how it feels on Fri.

Never thought id say this, but I miss Omaha! Never had a chance to do MAM though

Not sure if this makes sense, but that would give a better range of adjustment

I do it often to get it a little stiffer or softer. I have not noticed any handling problems doing it. I only move it off 1 hole. (2nd hole 1 side, 3 hole other side). You do need to have adjustable end links to not preload the bar.

Some knowledgeable people recomend to NOT do it because of the different length of the arms.

But it works for me. Do it at your own risk. I am not telling anybody to do it, but just what I do.

When I'm gone I don't miss Omaha, but having MAM an easy hour from my home is a plus!

I've got the gendron bar but haven't had much of a chance to play with it. Just set it up once on 3rd over from stiffest and autocrossed a couple of times. It made a world of difference in predictability though. But what would be the benefit to having different settings on each side?

Better range from what I understand.
If its too stiff or too soft, staggared hole setting will give a closer tune for what youre looking for.
Just an example and I could be completly wrong.. 1st hole 100% stiffer, 2nd hole 200% stiffer.Ones too soft ones too stiff, put one on the first the other on the second, 150% stiffer.

Ive never done this but I have read up on it.

Ah OK, thanks for the explanation man. The Gendron bar is pretty adjustable so I doubt I'll need to do it but it is definitely something to keep in mind for a test n' tune.

Sure it works great if you only turn one direction.

A shorter moment arm on one side will mean that that side is stiffer in relation to the other = different turning characteristics from turn to turn (assuming you aren't running a circle track car)

NOT A GOOD IDEA

Dont think it works that way.

Again, ive never done this, just read up on it. Also, 3 way can be a 9 way according to the testing.
