Using Hooiser R's at Auto-X
I am more of a track junkie than an auto-x one. (Tho I am in first place in my class (osp) right now
) I am thinking of putting a set of Hoosier R3S03's on a spare set of rims.
Will these work at all for auto-x?
I know they require more heat to get to temp, but I am currently running RA1's for Street, Auto-x and Track.

They will definitely stick better than the RA1's... the only time they would be a problem, in my opinion is on a cold day. Since you guys don't get those, I say go for it.
Keep in mind, they won't last as long as the Toyos. But you're going to love the stick!
We got R's shipped last year by accident from the tire supplier, and needed to run them because of a time crunch. They worked fantastic on the car!

Unfortunately, my first AutoX experience on A3S03 was on a 40 degree day with brisk winds, so i can certainly testify to their slipperiness (sp?) too, although completely controllable, but I digress . . .
My question is actually the other way around:
I'm looking to go to the track for a day (Early April at Lime Rock, so should be relatively cool); would the A3's get eaten too cr*p if I tried this?
