Question:

As I said before, I'm running 29psi in the back with the 265 V710's. This seems to be as low as anyone is running them. But, I'm still not rubbing off my chalk marks on the sidewall. In fact, I'm looking at the tires on my trailer where they are stacked side-byside next to each other, and I can see the chalk marks from above or behind (i.e. on the tread). Is this normal for these tires, as the sidewalls are having to bend so much to get the wide 265's on the narrow rims?

With my tire pyrometer, and my butt dyno, I found 33F and 31R to be the best setting.
I also use 33F and 31R. With my limited experience, if I go any lower, I feel like I'm losing some crispness.

I ended up running 33 front/30 rear at the Deven's Tour and the car handled great! Managed to grab the 4th place trophy. (Should have been 3rd, but I only managed to recover 8/10 of my 1 second deficit on Sunday.)

Side note:

Hoosier wets are incredible! I was 2 seconds ahead of the other S2000s in the rain on Saturday.

On a typical course I will run 31 psi in the fornt and 28 psi rear. The limiting factor is front traction, tends to push some in a medium sweeper, lots of patients needed.

For tighter/slower courses I have gone down to 25 psi in the rear and 29 in the front.

Loosing crispness for grip is the nature of the 710.

I run the comptech FSB on full stiff otherwise inside rear wheel spin to too much. Also have Koni yellows set full stiff in front and full soft in rear depending on the course.

I've been running 31-32f and 30r, 30 all around works on some courses. Anyone running 710s at the track? I recently did an event at the track (Sebring) and started with 32 all around, and after 3 laps I stopped to check the pressure and it was about 40 in the rear and 38 in the front. I dropped it back to about 34 (hot) and went back out for a few more laps. I didn't try going lower, car seemed pretty balanced. What pressure are you guys running for track days?

They work fine on the AP1 rims. They appear to be wearing very well and I have no rubbing issues. Keep in mind we are talking about a stock class car that is not lowered.
