Vehicle Inspection?
My S2K has 1500 miles on it, and the track (Michigan International Speedway) indicates that you need to flush your brake fluid prior to the autocrossing session. Also, I am required to have a complete vehicle inspection. They provide the checklist.
Where can I have the inspection done? Cost?
Can I somehow get around the flushing of the brake fluid, or what would that cost to have done?
Thanks

Are you sure that you mean autocross? Autocrossing is not hard on brake fluid at all because the brakes never really get hot. At onlt 1500 mi, your brake fluid is fine unless you have been doing some track days with the car. There is no reason to change it now prior to an autocross.

I agree, however depending on your experience in auto-x, you still might want to do it more for long term benefits. If you've done quite a bit of auto-x in the past and are comfortable and frequently use the left foot brake technique, which is more common on auto-x courses than road courses, you're brake fluid WILL get hot. Although stock Honda fluid is very good, you still might want to think about going with either Motul RBF 600 or Ate Super Blue to replace the stock fluild. Both are very good fluids. I personally use the Ate Super Blue but have heard phenomenal reviews of the Motul RBF 600.
If you do it yourself, flushing the brake fluid will only cost you whatever a liter of fluid costs -- less than $20. However, if you do it yourself you better do it right.
How should we know where you can have the inspection done? Every area has shops that are more used to doing track tech inspections. You just need to find one of them. Don't use a car dealer. I would ask the event organizers if they have any suggested shops. Cost varies, but it should be under $50. Unless they find something that needs to be fixed, of course.
Brake fluid is called out as a three-year item in the normal Honda service guidelines, but it would be safer to do it every two years. If you have never done it on a 2003 car, I'd say it's due anyway.
