It took him forever to countersteer. At those speeds, you have to react fast, or you are toasted.

That's an old video. The vette driver had a nasty head injury from when his car hit the barrier. The kind of injury a HANS device could have helped with. AFAIK he recovered after a year or so and is okay now.

Man, that sucks. I didn't hardly see him correct at all when the slide started. Everyone's right, there is another set of skid marks at the same spot he slid off. Good to know he's OK, though.

damn that sucks. I almost lost it due to a hard turn between gears and i only had one hand on the wheel. ever since then i learned alot about overall driving and how each turn should be approched.
