I just want to pass on this info. I've run with this group for 10 years. Formerly Orange County Pantera. Not a business venture more of a club event. They do two events at Big Willow each year. Nice people. Safe and fun. Bring your own timing. $245 for both days. I hope they can keep it going.

We have a BIG problem.....There are not enough cars registered to break even. We need an additional 30 cars to break even. This will probably be our last track event!!! After 25 years we are throwing in the towel. The economy has finally beaten us. We thank all of you who have been so loyal and supportive.

Man i wish we got that sort of pricing out on the east coast!

 

i was interested in going both days until i read i need to mount a fire extinguisher in my car. my car is stock, low mileage and in too nice of condition for me to "mount" a fire bottle in it. is there any other option?

 

For serious. I pay $399 for a two day weekend.

 

At least its not $400, that would be ridiculous! I think its cheaper because most socal tracks are not nice facilities like some of the major east coast tracks. Im sure Laguna Seca is more expensive than most all the east coast tracks.

 

I talked to Cherie and she said they can do one day for $185, so the price break for two days is significant. She also told me I would need a fire extinguisher, which I have. $185 is a bit pricey, but I'm considering it...
