Wendover? Any word yet???
Nothing's up for results yet and I'm curious
Wanted to go, but couldn't swing the commute!
So any word about BS? And I'm dying to find out how L1 shook out. Enquiring minds want to know.

Looks like Joe Goeke, then Andy, Mitch F., then Derek in the MR2T.

What a fun weekend! Congratulations to Joe for the win, and to Andy for almost taking it on Sunday after a tough Saturday. We were all envious of Andy's "Dragster Edition" S2000.
Congrats to Ken M. for making a great comeback on Sunday to take the win in CS over the clearly quicker-accelerating Spyder. Way to go dude!
With a couple wrong turns and a stop in San Fran on the way back, I drove 2100 miles for about 7.5 minutes of "seat time". Could be a record!

I wish I coulda been there this past weekend, and I echo congrats to Joe, Andy and Ken for a job well done... It would have been a fun battle with you guys, but instead driving 3600 miles for 7.5 minutes of seat time, I flew 2000 miles for 4.5hours of seat time! SCCA driver's school at Daytona (1.2mi infield only course) in an ITS 2nd Gen RX7... That was about the only thing that would have kept me from coming to Wendover this year, and it happened! Here was my weekend:
First session Saturday:
(parking lot)
First session Sunday:
(foot slipped off brake, spun at 100+)
Other 5 sessions:
(plenty of passing practice)
Practice starts/Practice race:
(started from the back because I was late to grid, passed 25 cars in 2 fake starts and 3 lap race - last to third in 3 laps, lost clutch
had to do last 2 laps with no clutch and still managed third while threatening for 2nd!)
Whew... what a weekend! Wait, maybe I don't wish I was at Wendover!
Bonus of weekend: I got signed off after one school and have my Regional Comp. license!

Speaking of Saturday, I wanted to take a moment to warn all S2K drivers of the passenger side bottom seat cushion. Apparently, Honda designed it with extra "springiness", which can cause objects thrown at it to bounce excessively. Just wanted to pass that along.
Hot weather all weekend long, making afternoon runs very greasy. Fairly demanding course had a crossover early that meant that the overlap was extra long. With the large turnout, final runs weren't until about 8pm on Saturday (when it was still 90+ degrees).
Looking at L1, it sure looks like it is going to take alot to beat Patty in the 330Ci. She even left some time on the left side with a cone.

That was me at the Peru Tour.Speaking of Peru, any left-coasters coming this way for the ProSolo? I think it should be a pretty fun course from what I've heard!
I think the best comeback was Andy on Sunday. I'm sure from now on, he'll be bringing the "big" tires and not just the rubber band ones. I couldn't believe how loose his car was on Saturday; it almost looked like I might have been driving it.
I think if Andy were given two more runs, he might have had the win in BS. As far as CS was concerned I couldn't believe frankly how hard the MR-2 Spyders were out-accelerating my Miata. Geez, I think the course had many elements to it, one chiefly being horsepower. Gary Thomason in his Z06 motored 99 C5 was hitting close to 80 mph after the turn around. I was banging my rev limiter coming back and going out, and i'm topped out in second gear at only 56 mph.
I'm already in Seattle, enjoying the Puget Sound. The weather here is much nicer than Wendover.
