Default great weekend

A great weekend

It started Friday evening at Felixstowe me in my99 and mate in his my03 we came up behind a modded golf gti mk4 (my daily drive is a golf gti mk4 1.8t) anyway we soon made him eat dust, then Saturday eve got mullered by a 10 plate focus st, Sunday afternoon I seemed to get picked on by a jag xf and a bmw330d not much in this altercation until we got to a large roundabout and the s2 came into its own. Then to top it all Sunday eve on way home me and mate both Silverstone s2’s got truly mullered by some nutter in a lambo.

My point is I have just as much fun driving my s2 as I do riding my blade.

Sounds like a good weekend indeed, really jealous as I was working all weekend the roads were dry and salt free (in January) it could have been perfect, me and a couple of mates are planning a trip to north wales next Sunday but you watch the weather go and f"*k it up and then the taff's will go and throw bloody salt all over the place ! bitter me?

Cheers.....Tony..

I agree S2000 and a blade are a fantastic compliment to each other. I'm looking forward to the spring to get back out on mine.

Much as I used to love a bit of a race...

I don't even bother these days. Save it for the track.

Sobering eh.

I'm no do gooder, some of the things i've done on the road in my younger years are not clever and I still get excited seeing other cars racing, or a biker pulling a wheelie... but I don't get involved anymore

There was another thread a long while back, where a lad was witnessed racing with another car, which later crashed (I think resulting in death) and due to witnesses, the lad was charged...

I have seen other posts on other websites which are similar to those links, but I never sat down and read them properly, I have never raced anyone, I would like to think that I am a sensible driver, in fact I usually get 'skitted' by my mates for my sensible driving, but there is the evidence for everyone if it all go's pete tong :/
