Default What am I missing??

Making a dedicated track car, but street legal.

Not on the extreme, but what to add. I have

Coil overs
Engine brace
Sway bars with spherical link
Subframes collars
Energy Bushings
Front splitter
PudyMod diff
Clutch/lightweight flywheel
Braided brake lines
Radiator
Oil pan baffle
255 tires / 8.5 wheels
Pads / slotted rotors
Race seat and low mount
Steering wheel and quick release
Hardtop
Silicone coolant hoses
CAI Injen
Bumpsteer blocks

Thinking wing and harness bar. What else ? Is a wing needed?

Roll bar and HANS, especially if you're going to use a harness.

Tires are going to be a bit pinched on those wheels, but should be fine.

Do you have something to get more front camber? What alignment are you running?

Eventually going to need bigger brakes too, at least in the front, and ideally front and rear ducts.

Nothing to add more camber, currently approximately F -2.7, with B -3.2. Is it ok to add more without changing the back?

Have a Hans , running "track spec alignment" with 60% less rear toe.

Yeah, you'll want more front camber than that for a dedicated track car. I'm running 4.1f, 3.1r right now, which is pretty close. Of course the ideal levels will depend on other suspension elements, so will take testing to dial in.

Highly recommend adding a proper rollbar too.

Thx... so roll bar , drop to 245's, and add adjustable control arms for front camber.

Wing???

I'd stick with the 255s. They'd be happier on 9.5" wheels, but even on 8.5s more rubber is probably better than less.

For more front camber, you shouldn't need whole control arms. The SPC adjustable upper ball joints or Hardrace adjustable lower ball joints (also gives roll center adjustment, but somewhat less available camber) work well.

Personally I'd hold off on adding aero stuff until you see how the car feels as-is, and get it at least somewhat dialed in. For now I'd just say put the roll bar in for safety, and more front camber because as well as being faster it'll preserve the tires.

Oh, also, make sure you read up on harness installs and do it properly. Schroth has some great documentation, as I'm sure do other manufacturers. Many harnesses I see are installed incorrectly/unsafely.

Run the car stock, just as it is. Then make incremental changes starting with tires and build some driving skills. There's always some guy who can and will outspend you for 1/2 second per lap and chasing this guy with a street legal car will be frustrating.

This isn't golf where we all know it's all about your clubs. It's about you (and me!).

I've done that, and already made changes over the last few track days. I'm satisfied with the changes I've made above. I race RX7's , so I'm use to low torque high rev and happy rear ends.

I'm looking for changes that benefit the overall handling without going to the extreme.

Right now I'm looking for confidence and control on fast sweepers with elevation change.

A wing?? Oil Cooler??
