Ok so I would like to know the above. I know that there are different classes but I'm not sure on the classes. My region has two classes street tire and race tire any other mods are allowed no penaltys. I'm looking for an effective brake pad which obviously does not need to be heated to perform in my 100 second sessions. Let me know please I've done research but still un sure.

Currently: Ferodo DS2500
Previously, on the Miata: Carbotech Panther Plus (now called AX6)

Rotors: OEM replacements manufactured by Centric, previously stock rotors

What are those like? I'm assuming they do not need to be heated up correct? Comparison to any other pad for autox? Ill research those to see how they stack up against the rest.

Just installed carbotech AX6 with stock rotors and loved it, great for both street and track.

The AX6 and DS2500 need just a little heat. Do a couple of quick stops from 5MPH on your way to the line on your first run, and that should take care of it. The AX6 is more finicky about heat, if they haven't changed the formula since I had them.

How are the carbotech AX6 for daily driving? at least equal stopping power to stock pads for street use? Do they squeak?

I've been using the Hawk HP+ and I'm happy with the results. They don't really need to be warmed up, and they provide good initial bite and good stopping power. They do dust and squeak like crazy though.
