Stock pads can't handle the heat of track days, and don't offer the hard initial bite of other pads for autocross. Stock fluid is fine actually, but for most people going to the track it needs to be changed out because it's rather old. ATE Super Blue is nice because it's a different color so it's easy to tell when you've completely flushed the system.

Something nobody has mentioned yet but is really important is that in Auto-x there are rules about what kinds of mods you can have for your class. Well, the S only does well in one class unless you spend TONS of money and that's stock class.

Find out first if you get addicted to auto-x because a lot of people do. If you do get addicted and you already bought some illegal mods you'll be kicking yourself.

If you've had no experience driving at 10/10ths then save the mods for later because I'm sure the car is not the weak link in you quest for speed.

EVO schools ($500 for two phases), alignment ($60-120), extra wheels and r-compounds ($900 or so), dalan hitch/harbor freight trailer ($275 + $200)

Total: $1995

Then you can start saving for shocks, lightweight exhaust, and JDM wheels.
