I had rays nuts and they were buy far the worst. The red colour fades to a pink and surface get grazed very easily. The eBay ones were just about the same quality, and in fact they got were so soft that they were grazed and got stuck in my wheel brace.

Currently using project kics r40s now and love them! Only downside is that they're quite heavy and prone to rust as they're open. The updated version rectified that with end caps.

I guess I am the odd ball I have always used Gorilla Lugnut and have been very happy.

They are very reasonably priced and great quality. I use steel myself but they have multiple type of aluminum.

I have the black steel Mugen nuts on my car, from the previous owner, they look like they're made by the same supplier as OEM.
The finish seems to hold up well, but I'm careful to use a 6pt socket instead of a 12pt.

I was thinking of getting the Ray's lugs in red, standard size, along with the valve stems. My car isn't a DD or track machine and hopefully I go 2 years without taking the lugs off. What do u Ray's owners think? The reviews so far aren't great.

Buy blue ones. They look good new and faded. The red ones turn pink.

What about the Works red lugs? Blue doesn't really go with my color scheme.
