I recall reading here that when in a spin both feet in.....

Does this mean take your feet off of everything clutch, brake, gas?

The reason I ask is I am going to a Autox soon and would appreciate any tips you could give since it will be my first time.

It means you should depress the clutch (so you don't stall) and the brakes (so you don't hit something).

The one mistake you see over and over at Autocross is when someone starts to slide, or skid, or spin, they slam on the brake. The problem with this is that they're trying to turn at the same time. As the cars starts to slow down, even slightly, the wheels suddenly catch, and the car goes spinning 10 times harder.

Unless you're doing a full spin, simply let up on the gas (not all the way) and wait for the car to catch again, most of the time you can regain control and continue as if you meant to do it. With experience you can calmly go through this procedure.

Autocross is possibly the best place to learn how to drive your car.
