Default Car jerking heavily when i start off sometimes!

I want to know what is the cause for this. Although this only happens once in a while its really annoying. When i start off from a stop in first all of a sudden the car jerks back and fourth heavily, as if the car gets torq boosts over timed intervals. But if i let go the gas and take the gear out and put it back in and gas it it goes away completely... or if i do a hard acceleration it is not there at all? what could be the cause for this. BY the ay these are not little jerks, the car shakes u up pretty good.

Probably just not using the proper gas/clutch combo... even experienced manual drivers still do this from time to time. Hell, this morning I let off the clutch so fast that it felt like I had a turbo

If you're referring to the "kangaroo-ing" effect, then you're not the only one with it.

Time to time it happens to me also. The best way for me is to clutch in, feed more throttle and slip the clutch. It happens after the car is fully warmed up, never when it's cold.

I cant say 100% for S2000's, but I had this same problem disappear when I installed a SS braided clutch line on my Silvia.

Another solution may be to tap your MAP Sensor. The Search function will yield much information on it.

Good luck!
