Just wondering if anyone out there has an oil catch can for both the PCV valve as well as the bigger breather hose.

And, if so, is there a difference in the amount of oil you collect between the two?

I don't have a dual can but oil definitely comes out of the front one especially if the PCV is blocked
its not as much

Do you mean: oil comes out of th front one especially, compared with the PCV.


But, if the PVC is blocked, not as much comes out of the front one.

I think a lot less oil comes out of the front in general but if the PCV is blocked then more seems to come out of it.

Mine runs off the rear hose and it does the job very very well for an n/a application. I think dual cans are probably overkill on n/a car.

I see where you're going...
I want to try the sealed double can set-up.
And then the open atmosphere set up as well.

It looks like you T'd your front and rear connections? Is that right?

If so, I know for sure this is not the right thing to do. The front and rear hoses from the valve cover operate under different vacuums except when at WOT. There is a good explanation of this in MOTOIQ.

Mostly why I'm asking is to decide which one to hook mine up to. In my situation, I don't burn a drop of oil, but I do get the S2000 smoke screen thing when on the track, That's what I want to stop.

My mechanic said to hook it up to the front one, but I've been told the smoke screen thing happens through the PCV valve.

If you do the PCV one, you have to be very careful about possible vacuum leaks.
