Default Willow Springs (Big Willow)

I have been meaning to run big willow for awhile. My car is supercharged 377whp. Not much else done to it for handling/braking aside from an agressive alignment, wider wheels and tires, brake pads/fluid.

On a typical road course, I get some lift in the rear around higher speed corners. I am wondering if this will be "manageable" on this track. I know big willow is a very fast track, fastest in california for that matter. Just wondering has anyone driven this without any aero or suspension? If so would you still consider it with my sort of horsepower?

Big Willow is my favorite SoCal track. I never miss a chance to run there. I just got my AP1 so I haven't been there in the S2K yet, which has no aero, but I'm going soon.

Just run it. It won't be as fast as with aero, but so what. It's not like it's going to flip on you just because you don't have a big wing.

And leave a good margin of safety when entering turn 9.

my supercharged 230whp Miata has done a sub 1:30 there. FYI, at 1:30, AVERAGE SPEED is exactly 100MPH at Big Willow

with stock power S2000, T6 to T9, you can fall asleep and be okay. but not so with 377whp on street setup, T8 will also be tricky

With the s2k I've been on streets of willow, infineon, and thunderhill. Streets of willow being the only track with the supercharger.

I've also tracked at buttonwillow and california speedway in a previous car.

I might give this a shot at the next s2k challenge but i need to replace my clutch first so it depends when I get that done. a stock s2000 motor without aero it wouldnt concern me, but I bring a lot more speed. Agreed I will just leave a little extra margin and see what happens.
