You should corner weight it. Then redo the alignment and chime back in.

ya, thats another good thought......i don't know locally where i could have that done. Any recommendations?

thinking about front rear balance with my car i bet its way messed up right now because i added the charger,AC, and radiator to the front which was like 60 lbs and then subtracted 71 from the middle-rear with the swap from the stock exhaust to the J's header, Ti 70 RR single....which only weigh a feathery 21 lbs together.....thats a big transfer of weight to the front of the car.....how would i get the balance right??

[QUOTE=SOHCmyDOHC,Jun 12 2007, 01:40 PM] You should corner weight it.

Corner weighting does not change the front-back weight balance, or the L-R weight balance either. It changes what the oval track guys call "wedge".

Think of the car as a four-legged chair. Corner weighting is the same as adjusting the legs of the chair to stop it from rocking from leg to leg.

On oval tracks they use it to make the car turn better in one direction. On road course cars, it is adjusted to make sure the car turns the same in both directions.

I actually have 8 in all now......2 in the pillar pod....Defi-Tach to the left to read above 8k.....and 5 accross the dash to finish out the Defi Catalog.

It looks nuts.....I'll take a pic of them lit up when i get it back this week. I am haveing my ATS 2-way Diff put in right now. If you know anyone that wants a used Cusco 1.5 way mechanical with 3 k miles on it send me a PM.

I am going to have my car re-aligned again after i get it back and take 1/2 a degree out of the front camber.......and go further with the toe in on the rear to 1/4 inch. I don't know why someone told me 2mm.....that was wrong info.....but it still handles great that way. I am just going to take it a bit further and see how i like that.

If the 1980's taught the world anything, its that nothing succeeds like excess!
