Man i got a friend who just bought a z and hes been looking up some facts and he kees showing me this damn car and driver test that posted the s2000 3rd and the s50z 1st. Car and Driver says that the s2000 goes 0-60 in 6.2 and that is only because pros can pull this off. People like us can only do 7.2 in this car. The z does 0-60 in 5.7. Now whats the deal. is this bullshit or what?

 

Sounds like B.S. to me. I have hit 0-60 in 5.4 in my S2 with a Gtech and a aem cai as my only mod. P.S. dont believe the mag's!

I was reading Road and Track yesterday (The February 2003 issue), and someone wrote in saying that the trap speed they had for the Corvette in one of there previous issues was technically impossible (WAY TO LOW). The magazine replied that the info was inaccurate because they didn't actually run a full quarter mile for the performance test! They said they didn't have enough room and had to "Extrapolate" the results.

Magazine stats are BS!

 

True... One of my older Motor Trend issues rated our van at like 10.3sec in the 0-60mph run... Boy, were they wrong!
