00' S2k vs. S60-R
Wow, that thing is fast....Anyways, I was on my way home at about 3 a.m. (this was 30 mins. ago) I get on the Interstate, I'm cruisin at about 70 when this Volvo pulls up next to me and waves on so, I'm like yeah. I'm in 5th and punch it, he easily pulls.(I know, but I've never downshifted in the S and didn't feel this was the time to learn.) So my turn is coming up...he wants another run, so I agree again. This time I drop it into 4th and I'm at 5.5k 
but we slow down so his passenger can count off, I'm at 4k when the race starts. He slowly pulls a car on me until I hit 6k then I pull about 2 cars....I hold him off until 130 when he starts pullin on me. He had a car on me when we shut off at 140.
He had 2 passengers, all of them weighed about 130-140....
I was alone and weigh about 130 and am slightly modded.
So, we pull over and he states he had a S60-R, which has 300 hp (crank)
I got his number and will investigate this S60-R tommorow. For now I'm going to bed
but we slow down so his passenger can count off, I'm at 4k when the race starts. Nice encounter and a fair match, despite the class difference(4dr vs. roadster), considering the S60-R is a mid to high 5 sec. car to 60mph in the hands of a capable driver.

Third would have been the right gear....He also started in 4th, so we had a pretty even race.
One of his passengers had driven an S2k before and couldn't believe how fast mine was, they thought I hit nitrous....
By far the most fun I've ever had racing.

This is your normal S2ki kill story without video. Maybe when you guys learn to use a video cammera I will not call BS..
I don't have any video's of me raceing a S2000 because they are all afraid. Maybe someone on the board will want to play...

S60-R is a 300hp car. They are not known for explosive 0-60 times due to lack of traction, but on the highway obviously they can fly. I have a modded volvo V70 T5 wagon pushing 300whp.. fun cars. I have no comment on s2k vs S60-R race, but I imagine stock S2k would not take it on the highway.

I said he started to pull on me at 130... he also had 2 passengers. I don't have a video camera and if I did I wouldn't try to film and race at the same time especially at high speeds. 
And yes we are too afraid to race you and your mighty Porsche...
