I know a guy that has an 04 sti and we are pretty good friend. He has a 3in CBE, and a tune that allows him to run a little over 17psi. We raced two other times with the same result but they were little closer than the last. But the third time I even gave him about a half a car. I honk 3 times and as soon as i push the pedal down i shoot past him by almost a full car. I shift and keep pulling away. When we shut it down i was about 2 1/2 or 3 cars ahead. I got the last one on video and i will post it to night when i get home.

EDIT: We also raced before i was turbo to see what the diffrence would be. From a 45 with 4ppl in the car he pulled only me by 2 or 3 cars. So i was like we should race from a 85/90, surly the s2000 would pull harder on top right? WRONG thats where his sti really shines, from an 85 he pulled instantly and kept pulling. when we shut it down he had put about 8 or 9 cars on me. So i think the turbo made a pretty good diffrence. Last time i was completly empty, no one riding car completely cleaned out an 2 bars of gas. There was only one person riding with him this time, i had my whole stock exhaust (header back, it was all chopped up so it would fit) in the trunk, a full tank of gas and a person riding with me.

His car is only at Stage 1 (no down-pipe), so you should beat him.

 

still at 6 psi i thought it would be dead even.

 

How much HP are you making on 6 pounds?
