Default 01 S2k vs Sti

so i'm ready for whatever BS flag i get but i know what i saw. so tonight on my way home a Sti got next to me and i jumped first then let off and he just walked away from me. he then waited for me to catch up and we did, i had the car in either 3rd or 4th and just stepped on it till redline. i want to say i went to the end of 3rd. i expected to get wasted but he and I stayed even till i ran out of gear. the thing was i didn't really want to race cause the roads were wet. it was quite scary but i had to find out how i would do. the road was straight and not that wet. i don't get that many races when driving around. so i'm quite surprised on how i did. i'm sure once i shifted to 4th he prob would have started walking away. the only mods i have are spoon snorkel with K&N filter.

yeah no kidding i was counting my prayers after that. the more i think about it it had to be end of third cause end of 4th gear would have taken me over 100 mph and i'm sure if i was going that fast i wouldn't be telling this story. i know he was flooring it cause when i let up and then he let up his exhaust made a pop sound. i'd deff like to give it another shot in the dry.

Not calling the BS flag but it had to be driver error. My friends STI walks my S (both stock) every single damn time.

it may have just been a wrx. i can't remember if it there was a big wing.
it's just pretty cool that my NA car stayed up with a turboed car.

Nah, stock wrx's are quite a bit slower than S2k's from a roll..

Depending on the year of the WRX, and the starting speed...
