Ok I was crusing down a side street off of Friars Rd. in SD, when I notice a new model mercedes benz SL? we are both about to turn on to a on ramp that takes you on to Friars, and I noticed that the driver of the SL was taking the turn extremly wide and fast, so I decided to speed up a bit and take the turn pretty tight. As we exit the turn he step on it, I then realized this guy was ready to get down so i step on it at about 4.5k in second, he got the jump but once i hit vtec i stopped his pull and stayed even with me pulling closer to his bumper just a lttle. We were running until we Fenton parkway were we both turned, this is where he had to slow way down and I did not. I pulled up pretty close to his ass and took the turn way faster then he did. i had to turn again and he went on his way, I threw out the deuce with no reply. My mods= magnaflow exhuast and adidas racer lows.

PS dont flame me or whatever I thought i would share a fun little chase I had. I am sure I will have more soon as i live off Friars and i run into luxury sports cars like M5's, M3's, etc and not to mention evos, stis and Z's all day long

if its the big boys (amg), there is no way in hell u could catch them in a straight. corners yes, but not the straight.

fyi the sl65 amg has 738 ft-lb of tq....that's enough to reverse the Earth's rotation and it out accelerated the c6z06...

 

Ya it was not the sl 65 amg, that would have been awsome to be stomped by though. Anyways, I dont know which one it was, it had been debadged. My geuss would be the 350 maybe 500, I dont know, sorry. Anyone got the specs on the 350 and 500.

 

quad tips?? if it was quad it was an amg if it was dual then it was a 350 or 500. also, you can tell by the rear lights quite easily as well. the lights are like a sandwitch. it goes red red red for non amg and red smoked red for amg. =]

 

I am going to be looking for quad tips for now on thanks for the info.
