So i raced my friedns 02 max 6 speed today off a roll. All he has done is and intake. I have comptech catback, ricks pulleys, intake, and no cat. First two races he pulled on me by like half car cuz i toook off a little before vtec set in. The second 2 they were even races. Im mad because I thought he didnt have a chance to get me or itd be even at the least. Anyone else take on ne maximas. I cant want to get my gears done then its he should have no chance def.

Any pointers you guys want to give me all I really do it try to start in vtec and take it to redline. How do you guys race?

 

arent they heavy 3300lbs? Wouldve hoped you pulled and won. Dyno her man.

 

Ya they are heavy but more hp and torque...

 

weight is still important, with all that HP they are still hititng 0-60 in high 6s and 1/4 in high 14s. If we can take out G35s as a stock s2k, a 2002 max should be easiar espicially with your mods.

 

they only put like 220 to the wheels..... s2 has wieght and gear on them, you should have won.....

yea start a bit before vtec and go through ur gears quickly...and put ur top up for better aero

u should have pulled.

 

I'd say either at 6k or 6.5k.

 

damn then I dont know why hes dead even or pulling on me. Im kinda upset. lol we tried from a 30 mph and 55 mph rolls
