03 Cobra vs S2000
i think this should be the result when a s2k wants to race an 03 cobra

"Told my bud "this is about to get very interesting" I move over and as it turns out its a freakin S 2000. The dude pulls up next to me, drops down a gear, revs, and obviously wants to run. We are at about 75mph. I pull in behind, stand on it and walk past him like he has the freakin queen mary tied to his bumper. The poor guys little S 2000 was SCREAMING rpms out of the engine compartment, but I swear I still heard the poor guy cusing out my "lowly" Ford. I catch the ZO6 and we have one more run. "

wow.. he beat a 14 second car.. and all he needed was a v8 w/ a blower.
too bad it wasn't a turbo s2k... at least then the s2k has a chance.

Why would you come here and post that... what's your point? Nobody here thinks a NA S2000 can hang with an 03 Cobra in a straight line... this isn't news to anyone. From your mods listed on your GT it wouldn't be any different for you to race an 03 Cobra... you'd get spanked just the same. The S2000 is far superior in handling, breaking, build quality and has one of the best gear boxes in the world.. why do so many people attack it?

The guy is bragging that a SC Cobra beat a N/A S2k? That's like Mike Tyson feeling proud about beating up Pee-Wee Herman.
I don't care what anyone says, change the conditions into a tight downhill mountain pass cat and mouse game with tons of hairpins, low to medium speed corners where neither car can pull beyond 50mph in any section and no matter how much HP that Cobra packs, a well driven S2k will be so far ahead that the driver of the well driven Cobra will have to deal with feelings of loneliness when he realizes that he's the only one still running.
