06 s2000 vs. Evo IX
Most manufactures BOV's which vent to atmosphere (HKS) cause Evo's to run like crap. Stock they use a recirculating BOV + the stock IX BOV has no boost leak issues so there really is no need to change it unless you go big turbo.
As for intakes, most cause problems with the MAF + the stock airbox with a drop in is good for around 350WHP.
The quoted posters point was that anyone familiar with Evo's knows not to mess with either of those things unless your making big power. 360WHP is not big power on a IX.
EDIT: Also I don't understand why every Evo on here get's stomped. All they need to spend is around $3-600 in used parts and they are around 330-350WHP tuned.

He wasn't putting down 360 to the wheels. If you ever hear an Evo with a BOV it's safe to say the owner had no idea what they were doing.

^^ it means recirculating the BOV provides more power, better drivability and is not ricer.
Real fast Evo's aren't putting down 360WHP. That's more than easy to do with Stock Turbo/BOV. The average Evo on the street right now with a "Loud" BOV isn't making power, they install it to fulfill their ricer dreams.
This guy is running a Forge RS BOV, no need for sneezing while you drive down the street even at 450WHP.
