Racing with the top down makes a big difference at high speed. On my '05 AP2 I top at 140 mph with the top down, and 152 mph with the top up. Also I reach the top speed much faster (that was done on an abandoned highway somewhere in Mexico...).

a 306 WHP S2k should Kill a Camaro SS any day, The power to weight Ratio is all for the S. However the Drag is terrible with the Top Down, that's why i think you have lost. with the Top Up, there is no way that Camaro would've got you even in 6 speed. The Camaro is Blocky but an S2k with a top down have a terrible Drag at high speeds

soo its totally of the camaro ss.. But my buddy has a cobra.. And im planning to put a turbo in this winter.. U guys think if i had at least 320 whp that i shld be able to beat him on a roll?? he has 03 Superscharged cobra pushing 479whp.. just curious cuz can get a lil cocky LOL

No, you will get murdered. Not only will you lose out on power to weight, you lose out massively on power under the curve.
