I was driving 70 in a 65 it was dark out I see a car catching up pretty quickly i noticed its lights and could tell it was a Chrysler vehicle but when he caught up too me, he got side by side at 70... slowed down then sped up I was not really thinking anything of it till he passed just figured it was a normal 300c not worth the race. But once he got in front of me I saw his wide tires and could hear his 6.1 hemi pumping.
So i speed up and then he floors it we are doing 100mph and I am trying to get him to slow down for a good pull. He was noobie i guess our first race was at

70 to about 120 we were neck to neck until about 100 then he started pulling on my by 1/2 car

Finally after doing 90 for about 20 miles i got him to slow the hell down for a 40 race

40 Roll 3 honks and we were off i pull atleast 1 1/2 cars on him all the way to about 105mph then he ended up passing me but a good car length up too 120+ mph


Being a Jeep Srt8 owner my self i know they are nothing to mess with but i was very VERY impressed with my CR to give it a run for the money.

 

you do realize that the 300c puts down very similar 1/4 mile times to the s2000.... its essentially a drivers race between the two.... you statement makes 0 sense.

also, your basically stock s2000 should in no way pull any amount of car lengths at any point against an srt 300... are you sure he stepped on it and it wasnt you stepping on it first then him hitting it and having to play catch up as well as passing you essentially meaning bus lengths?

 

When i say its not worth the race im saying its not worth risking a big ticket over a car that is no fun to race. like if someone in a v6 mustang pulls up i mean honestly who wants to race that or a scion TC its not worth risking a ticket for cars like that unless you know they have some work done that can be a challenging race

And i know he was on it im sure we all know what a 6.1 hemi sounds like you can hear the v8 Roar
I own a 2007 GC srt8 Trust me i know how they sound and where the power is on those cars They are not fast cars for a roll from a dig yes

 

300C with SRT badges FTL

 

how much does the 300c weigh anyway?? put that into the calculations. the weight advantage we have always helps

 

They weigh around 4,000lbs +

 

yeah but they have more then double the torque and alot more horsepower to make up for it... dont get me wrong, the 300c is an ugly boat but a fast ugly boat lol

 

SRT8 have some Go and yah losts of torque but from a roll they are not the fastest
