Neon streetglow?? He may as well wear a dress. The 4.7 wouldn't stand a chance against the S with those mods, you will destroy him. A 2wd Jeep.....what's this world coming to?
this is the inline 6... not a v8... you know that 4 liter motor thats been around since the reagan administration

Speaking as a 2003 S and a 2001 Jeep Cherokee owner, the word "race", "Jeep", and "S2000" shouldn't even appear in the same sentance unless you agreed to run on the Rubicon Trail, and guess what.. he doesn't even have 4WD.

Yup, I knew that. What I meant was, that if the 4.7 wouldn't get it done, dream on for the I6. There are some interesting stroker kits for the 4.0's though.

Wow, this is retarded.

I raced a 4.7L Overland (my friend's, just for fun), in my 00' Civic SI, and we were dead even. We all know the S2k will DESTROY an 00 Si, and the high output v8 will kill the 4.0 jeep, regardless of mods minus FI, so this question is done....

And BTW, I ran a 15.18 at MIR with just an intake an exhaust on the SI, so it was not poor driving

Maybe a little off topic, but to it's credit, the 4.7 is a great motor. The GC with the 4.7 is pretty quick. Sure, it can't keep up with the S, but that's what the SRT8 is for. Jeeps are awsome, just not for drag racing.
The SRT8.......well, if it can't cross the Rubicon, it shouldn't be called a Jeep.
