Default 2005 Viper Vs. Evo MR

Today i took my dads viper out for a little drive and wanted to see how it would do with my brothers evo. My bro has intake, exhaust, ecu, Boost control boostin 22, cam gears, came shaft, and some other little things. We started off at 40. My bro does something he calls brake boostin. Which means he gets full boost on the third honk. So always jumps a good car on anything. So we start at 40 with him jumpin. Slowly i see i pull. Around 90 is when i started walking and around 125 i put a car or bit more on him. I have it on my camra phone and when ever i get it up ill post up the video. Great race. Also i had a friend in the viper while my bro was alone.

Something doesn't seem right....

How much is your brother's EVO putting down to the ground?

I raced my friend's EVO that had similar mods which put down 330awhp/330awtq with my Z06 when it was stock. And I put 2 cars on him from 50-120. I'd imagine the SRT10 would destroy it even worse.

From experience, about two more car lengths.

My best friend has a modded Evo 9 MR putting down 330awhp and 305awtq that I've driven and ridden in many times, and I just can't imagine him hanging door to door with a Z06 or much less a Viper in a straight line race. Not to say that your race didn't happen, but maybe your brother is a lot better at driving the Evo than you are at driving your dad's Viper.

you sure your brother doesn't have alky injection boosting 30 lbs and a gt30r in there?

i have more mods than your brother so i guess i just need to brake boost vipers to see how that works lol

wow I'm glad everyone thought the same as me when I read it....hard to believe but anything is possible. Lots of factors when racing.

well like i said. Brake boostin he jumped 1 and 1/2 cars in the start. I started pulling right after that. And by 110 i was pullin hard. My bro at palmdale can hit a 12.4, which comes out to a 11.9 at sea level. This is what they say on there site. So my bros car u can say is very fast. The videos are up on the comp but need to host them.

Is that conversion for boosted cars? I don't think a boosted car will see as much advantage in the altitude change as an n/a car. In any case, it sounds like a quick car.
