the guy in the Z was extremely unlucky that day.

 

I was going to see my dad of fathers day this year and me and an acura TL were doing about 86 on a 4 lane interstate. Well my radar detector goes off and I see a state trooper coming through the median to get us. So I slowed down to about 70 and just waited.

The acura takes off, and when the cop gets to me with the lights on.....he then shuts them off and goes around me.....30 seconds later I see the acura pulled over and both of them look at me. I shrugged my shoulders with a look on my face like .....what do you want me to do.....then I kept going. That was one ticket I could not afford.

Guys do u think a stock ap1 with 4.57 gears will take a stock 350z if they race from like 60 to 1xxmph will the z take me or do u think i can take him and if anyone has a 4.57 whats the fastest u have gone like ur top speed 6th gear redlining or close to redline about 8500 or hight is u have gone the fastest i did was like 120 with my new gears i dont want to try higher yet just got a ticket for doing 99mph lol

i have 5 buddys all with Zs, one of my friend with his 03 hits a consistent 13.9 on the track on the other extreme the other friend with an 04 cant do any better then a 14.7 and even that for him is a struggle so it is def driver.

 

With that gear, it's better to do low speed runs, as it is more beneficial than high speeds. Do 20-100 mph starting in 1st. You'll beat him, assuming you could drive decently.
