Default Another bike with a passenger.

I don't know what it is with bikes and passengers. I ran across another bike with a passenger on the back. This time on the freeway and the bike sounded way meaner than the last one. More revvy. He revs just like the last guy. This time I was going about 80 and jumped back down to third. We both gun it at the same time and neither of us pulls. We shut down at about a buck twenty and he just smiles. I guess I better take a bike win when I can for if I ever catch one without a passenger I am going to be his four course meal all in one kill.

Chris, I'm gonna have to say that when you have a passenger on back, it's a judgement call on whether or not too take the bike to it's limits or not. Bikes are crazy fast from 80-120.

Yup, never timed it but feels like it can't be more than 3 or 4 seconds to go from 80-120mph.

Bikes are crazy fast. I have had my fair share of drive time but never did the passenger thing. Crazy passenger bike people anyway. Take it while I can.

If your racing somewhat newer bikes, either you have a very fast(much fast than a stock S2K) or they are not racing/wrong gear.

For example, let's say you race a newer 600 cc that runs 10.8-10.9@127-128, race weight of 600 lbs. You add let's say 200 lbs to the bike from the passenger. The bike should still be able to still pull high 11's@116-117. They still have a very good power-to-weight ratio.

You could be racing older 600's(maybe even some older 750's). A older 600 Ninja could run mid 12's@110, with a passenger, mid 13's@100?? My uncle had a 96 750 Katana that I raced years ago in my Z28 that at the time was running 12.0's@114...I spanked him by 5 car lengths, evening letting him leave first. The dude weighed 275 lbs though...sorta killed what crappy performance the bike had in the first place.
